Privacy
Slate has no accounts, no servers and no analytics. Everything it knows stays on your iPhone.
What Slate reads
- Steps. Read from Apple Health and the motion sensors, with your permission, to price unlocks. They are processed on your device and never sent anywhere.
- The apps you lock. Chosen through Apple's Screen Time picker. Apple gives Slate private tokens, not app names or usage. Slate cannot see what you open or for how long.
What Slate stores
Your settings, today's steps and unlocks, your record and your daily history are stored on your device only. Deleting Slate deletes all of it.
What Slate does not do
- No sign-in or account.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.
- No selling or sharing of data with anyone.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by Apple. Slate never sees your payment details. Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your device. You can turn them off in Slate or in iOS Settings.
Children
Slate is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
